Max Planck Biography

Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Planck (April 23, 1858 in Kiel, Germany October 4, 1947 in Göttingen, Germany) was a German physicist. He is considered to be the feed of quantum theory, and therefore one of the some important physicists of the twentieth century.\n\n limit [hide]\n1 vivification and blend in\n1.1 bringing up\n1.2 Academic public life\n1.3 Family\n1.4 Professor at Berlin University\n1.5 Black-body radiation sickness\n1.6 Einstein and the theory of relativity\n1.7 World struggle and Weimar res publica\n1.8 Quantum mechanics\n1.9 Nazi monocracy and Second World War\n2 Religious experience\n3 Honours and medals\n4 See also\n5 Notes\n6 Publications\n7 Bibliography\n8 External links\n8.1 Biographies\n8.2 Articles\n\n\n\n[edit] Life and work\nPlanck came from a traditional, capable family. His enatic great-grandfather and grandfather were both theology professors in Göttingen, his father was a rightfulness professor in Kiel and Munich, and his paternal uncle was a judg e.\n\nPlanck was born in Kiel to Johann Julius Wilhelm Planck and his second wife, Emma Patzig. He was the sixth child in the family, though two of his siblings were from his fathers first marriage. Among his early memories was the marching of Prussian and Austrian troops into Kiel during the Danish-Prussian war 1864. In 1867 the family moved to Munich, and Planck enrolled in the Maximilians gymnasium, where he came under the tutelage of Hermann Müller, a mathematician who took an interest in the youth, and taught him astronomy and mechanics as well as mathematics. It was from Müller that Planck first learned the ruler of conservation of energy. Planck graduated early, at age 16. This is how Planck first came in contact with the field of physics.\n\n\n[edit] Education\nPlanck was extremely gifted when it came to harmony: he took singing lessons and compete the piano, organ and cello, and composed songs and operas. However, sort of of music he chose to account physics.\n\nMu nich physics professor Philipp von reasonably advised him against going into physics, saying, in this field, almost everything is already discovered, and all(a) that remains is to fill a few holes. Planck replied that he did non wish to discover unfermented things, only to understand the know fundamentals of the field, and began his studies in 1874 at the University of Munich. Under Jollys supervision, Planck performed the only experiments of his scientific career, studying the diffusion of enthalpy through heated platinum, save soon transferred to theoretical physics.\n\nIn 1877 he went...If you want to lead a full essay, say it on our website:
